Common symptoms which indicate your child may have a vision problem:
• Sore or tired eyes
• Blinks or rubs eyes frequently
• Poor concentration on near activities (especially reading and school)
• Covers or closes one eye
• Holds book/screen too close to face
• Squints or sits very close to the TV
• Messy or untidy handwriting
• Headaches or excessively tired at end of the day
• Tilting or positioning head strangely when looking at things
• Loses place easily when reading or copying from the board
• Reversing letters (eg. b and d) or words (eg. saw and was)
